Shorts Tunnels, January 2006
I got a chance to see the Tunnels twice - For this I must thank peroXide from the forums at 28dayslater!
The tunnels were amazing. It was hard to believe you were under peoples houses while you were down there! The amount of mould and different types was amazing aswell. That combined with Asbestos made it yet another nightmare for the lungs - So a respirator is advisable.
Heres some photos from the trips:
1. The unlined tunnel.
2. Another tunnel... Note the rubble in the way. There where a few blockages like that.
3. A giant cotton wheel!
4. Some form of marking on the wall.
