Mecca Bingo, Welling - December 2007
On the way back from Carlsberg/Tetley's, Docklands we decided to give this Bingo Hall a visit. Upon arrival we were greeted by the sound of the alarms inside the building.. Although I was reassured that this was the norm. We walked through a short corridor before arriving at the top of the actual hall.
I was astounded at how good condition this was in! There was a TV on, Lights on and the bar lights were on. I got snapping away up here before going down to the ground level and having a nosey about.
Then we went into the entrance lobby where the alarm was located. This was in good working order - yet it had obviously been on for some time.
Next we walked through some of areas that would be off limits to the public [like safes]. From here we had a little fright with the CCTV camera on the street outside. It was directly at window level and kept spinning around! Needless to say, I didn't like being infront of this window!
Overall, It was a good explore and the finish to a pretty good trip!
