BNG Littlebrook, Spring 2008

Due to the circumstances surrounding this exploration - I feel I'd better just get on with the pics!

A little note - if you get caught here, you're going to get screwed. Take it from me - 24 hours in a cell, multiple interviews, confiscated equipment.. and 2 detectives checking out my house. With that said.. It's an amazing site - just don't get caught.

This place housed replica nuclear reactors, and as such is owned by British Nuclear Group. Just in case that wasn't enough - its on the site of a live npower power station. (Littlebrook D) The building itself originates from one of the older steam power stations.

1. The sheer scale of this place was immense.


2. Everything inside here was brightly coloured - even the doors!

3. Different stairways and platforms made this feel like something out of a bond film!

4. Some of the stairways were not for those afraid of heights!

Only a handful of photos were able to be produced at this site - it was an incredibly rushed visit, and one that didn't allow for setting up a tripod or even lining up shots properly! Definitely an experiance - maybe not one I wish to repeat in the near future though!
